Extended Shackles

Our new extended shackles are a great way of increase ride height without increasing the original spring rates. Typically, our shackles will provide 2 inches of lift over the original height. They are engineered to the highest quality, powder-coated and include chrome-moly greasable pins. Extended shackles are available to suit most leaf-sprung versions of Hilux, Landcruiser, Rodeo, Navara, Sierra and Patrol.

Video of the month - Typhoon Pump

Our video of the month features the heavy-duty Typhoon Air Compressor. This twin-head pump puts out an impressive 150L/minute. It’s just like having you own service station!

Strut Spacers

If you own a current model Toyota Hilux or Nissan Navara, these strut spacers may be the ideal solution for raising the front to improve clearance, and allow fitment of larger tyres. Manufactured from billet alloy (and anodised to help protect them against the elements) the spacers are bolted to the top of the strut tower and provide approximately 45mm of lift - without limiting the wheel travel. The spacers are sold in pairs and include all required hardware.

Need more than a clever dick

Dick Smith’s recent problems are a good reminder of what can happen during an off-road adventure. The well-known Aussie entrepreneur, and renowned adventurer, was well and truly stranded in Kazakhstan, when the computer-controlled electrics in his Ford F-550 decided to go on strike.

Even with his years of experience in most things electronic, Dick couldn’t track down the problem. Sadly, this is the reality of 21st century outback travel: where bush mechanics are obsolete and you need sophisticated analysis equipment just to diagnose a fault.

We hope Dick and his wife have managed to resume their 41,000km journey around the world.

Prado QuickLift

Hills 4x4 proprietor, John Purdon, just installed a pair of Rancho Quicklift struts on the front of his Prado, and he couldn’t be happier.

“The vehicle has come up 45mm at the front and with the 9 stage adjustable knob, I can really tailor the ride to just how I want it. I wish Rancho had invented these years ago!” said John.

The Quicklifts use the original coil springs, and are now available for all models of Prado, Hilux, 4Runner, Navara and Pathfinder that use coil-over-strut front suspension

Battery Terminal

This 3-way batter terminal converts your positive battery post into three outlets: each with fuse protection. This is an ideal addition for 4WDs and caravans fitted with electrical accessories and/or dual battery systems.

At just $44, there is now no excuse for having dodgy electrical connections in the battery area.
